Established in 1988 South Australian Seed Marketers Pty Ltd (SASM) is a leading privately-owned Australian seed company specialising in the export of locally grown and machine processed seed all over the world. SASM are especially strong in locally grown Lucerne, Haifa White Clover, Sub Clover and Annual Clovers with sales to the Middle East, United States of America, China, Europe, South America and Africa being the main export destinations.

Significant investment is made each year, both internally and with our research and development partners, in order to develop and commercialise new varieties. To ensure our products are fit for purpose, they are rigorously tested at our research sites at Naracoorte SA, and across many satellite locations throughout the country.

High quality seed is critical to SASM in providing international farmers and wholesalers with high performance locally grown products to improve productivity and maximise profitability. The use of modern agricultural technologies has direct & indirect effects on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by increasing yields & preventing the conversion of carbon-rich forests into farmland.

The SASM storage and processing plant is located in the heart of South Australia’s Limestone Coast (Naracoorte). Ideally situated for easy access to the region’s vast network of primary producers.
