Jamie Tidy, Director

Jamie grew up around seed through his father’s involvement in the seed industry for over 40 years and finally entered the family business in 2003. Jamie and his wife Peta took over the reigns of SA Seed Marketers/Naracoorte Seeds in 2010 and look forward to a long future in the seed industry. Jamie is now the Managing Director and handles the National and International Seed Trading (excluding Alfalfa), as well as local pasture recommendations. Jamie has a long list of industry involvement including Chairman of the Southern Region for 8 years, member of the Lucerne Australia Executive and MacKillop Farm Management Group.

Joshua Rasheed, Director

Josh started with SA Seed Marketers in 2011, taking over from Jamie as National and International Alfalfa seed trader. In 2016, Joshua became a Director of SA Seed Marketers. Joshua’s passion for the Alfalfa industry is shown by him representing Lucerne Australia as an executive for 10 years, with 3 of the years spent as Chairman of the organisation. Joshua looks forward to continuing to build on, and create new, long-term relationships with our international clients.

Mark Williams, Export Manager

Mark is the logistics/export office manager and has been with our company for 40 years. Mark has an excellent all round knowledge of the seed industry and has an exemplary attention to detail in his export documentation. Outside of work Mark runs a beef cattle, hay production and timber operation and enjoys the peace and quiet that farming offers. Mark has been a valuable contributor at Australia Seed Federation level for many years with his unique insights into export procedures.

Dylan Brodie, Production Manager

Dylan manages the seed production portfolio for Naracoorte Seeds which includes contracted multiplication for domestic and international clients. Since joining Naracoorte Seeds in 2015, Dylan has completed a Diploma of Agronomy and has committed himself to learning the intricacies of pasture seed production. Dylan works with growers from seeding through to harvest and provides detailed milestone reports through our customised seed production program.
Having had several years in the role now, Dylan is extremely proud of the relationships he has formed with local seed producers and hopes to continue to build on these strong relationships into the future.

Peta Tidy

Peta is the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of SA Seed Marketers/Naracoorte Seeds and plays an important role in financial management and record keeping. Becoming hands-on in the business was a natural progression for Peta upon taking over the business with Jamie, as she enjoys contributing to the family business and working with her husband.
